On Thursday, April 18, 2024, AARP will host a free paper shredding event with an on-site shred truck in Manhattan at the Boys & Girls Republic located at 888 E 6th Street from 11am ET to 2pm ET. Event ends at scheduled time or when the truck is full, whichever comes first. There is a three bag or box limit per participant. Paper only, please. Metal binder clips should be removed in advance. CREATE YOUR OWN KITCHEN DRAWERS
Deep kitchen cabinets and lower kitchen cabinets both present a challenge to finding things, unless you are lucky enough to have built-in drawers. The Container Store has a variety of pull-out drawers that are easy to install. (I sometimes improvise by using a large plastic container that I can pull out.)
