ALTERNATIVE ARTSY STORAGE

A recent client had such a large designer handbag collection that she needed an entire top closet shelf to display them handily. But that was where she kept her linens. There was absolutely no closet space left anywhere to relocate the linens. So I suggested she invest in one or two large unusual baskets (in this case, from Africa) with lids for her linens. There was no floor space in her bedroom for the baskets. But there was in her living room.

Who would ever know?
