A creative way to keep your bracelets together. Look around your apartment/house for other ideas -- for bracelets, rings (pretty small plates or antique teacups), necklaces.
Exposed jewelry will get dusty. Martha Stewart says gems can be cleaned with soapy water and a soft toothbrush. Swish a bar of mild soap in several cups of water until it becomes sudsy. Soak gems a few seconds, rub gently with the toothbrush, then rinse. Put on clean towel to air dry.
Soap dulls diamonds. Alternatively, soak them in an ammonia-based cleaner. Wipe dry with a paper towel.
For costume jewelry, a quick swish in sudsy water usually works but google this for confirmation.
