PAPER OR DIGITAL (planners, that is)

If keeping track of your life on your computer or phone is no longer working, perhaps you should consider a paper planner.

I have been using the At-a-Glance system for years. It's simple, it works and it's inexpensive. No apps and no technology to learn or malfunction. I have a leather-bound notebook with 8.5" x 5.5" month-to-month inserts that I change out and archive annually. Blank inserts are available if you want to take notes. Busier people may want week-to-week or day-to-day inserts. If I need support documents for an activity or appointment, I keep a hard copy in my planner so that everything is together. I always leave the planner at my home office for safe-keeping. If I have to remember something when I'm out, I make a note on a post-it and keep it handy.

Fast Company recently published a review of 7 planners that run the gamut from $20 to $285, depending on how well you want to treat yourself. :-) See link to article below. If your life is coming off the rails, perhaps you should try a simple paper planner and see how it works for you.
